March 27, 2019.

This was the day of the long drive to Winter Haven, made even longer because I forgot some important things and we had to turn around and go back after a half hour of driving! Since we were home anyway. we ate lunch before setting out again.

Zane took a snooze on the way there---we've been very busy this week!

We arrived at the motel and promptly upgraded our room to a ground floor room with a screened in porch that overlooked the pool and lake.

The pool was quite chilly! We swam anyway, and then went inside for a long hot shower. About an hour later some other kids were in the pool so Zane wanted to swim again. I watched poolside, and he had to have another hot shower afterward--it really was a cold pool!

We opted not to enter the lake!
