Photo of the day

If this looks like a photo of nothing, you're right. This is what we looked at all day. Rolling hills, corn and wheat fields, horses and cattle. Each little town defined by its grain elevators visible for 7 miles or more. Arrived at Abilene 1 PM. No computer here for us to use, so tomorrow's rest day will not be reported at length... Posting from the phone.

Quote of the day from Don: you know you're a long distance cyclist when you consider a 60 mile ride a short day.

Hi Linda,
Just catching up on your last few posts. Glad to hear you are feeling better. This past weekend was the MS150 West. We missed you. We talked about you at the Claddaugh and how we wished we were with you. We missed Roger as well this year. His sister passed away last Friday. I am almost embarrassed to tell you that we did not ride the 150. We rode the MS80. Our group of four just did not fit the training in this spring so we all opted for the shorter option offered this year. It was a great weekend. Lots of wind on Saturday; but absolutely gorgeous on Sunday. MS did a great job as usual with organization and a great route.

I was very amused to hear about the cyclist that took a hit from a chicken. I hope he's not too bruised. Have a great week! Marie
