Well, here we are in LaCrosse Wisoconsin, ready to rumble!
We started the day at Grosse Ile Bakery, coffee muffins and donuts with the guys. They were in rare form this AM!
We were on the road by 7:30, stopped a few times and then silenced Ms. Tom-Tom and bypassed around Chicago. Had a good story in the CD player and arrived in plenty of time to stop for a nice dinner and a quick trip to the dollar store for some plastic drink glasses... as we drove into LaCrosse we could see the mighty Mississippi--our home for the next 7 days.
I will blog whenever I get a signal--hard to tell what I'll find at campgrounds along the river!

Have Fun. Check my blog when you get home. We leave on August 1 for our trip to Mackinac. I'm going to try to write in each port; but who knows if I'll have wifi everywhere. : )
