This morning when we left the house it was -4 degrees. Grosse Ile Schools were cancelled yet again due to extreme cold, so we stopped to visit our little people on the way out. When we got out of the car to go to breakfast it felt warm--the sun was shining and there was no wind. The temperature had risen up to zero by then!
I had an uneventful flight and when Dianne picked me up at Tampa airport it was 77 and sunny! We stopped at Fed Ex to pick up my bike, went to her house, had a light supper and played some Scrabble. Below is a gift I brought for my gracious host--if you know Dianne you will understand!
