I had a great day with grandson Adam yesterday... we played chase games, ate lunch, had a long nap... what could be better? I even rate 2 syllables now--I have been promoted to Gaga (I used to just be Ga).
Here is a sunset photo from my front yard. It is so nice to look out and see no more ice! Boat docks look rather empty though. Spring arrives tomorrow, but at only 45 degrees... The REAL spring can't be too far behind. A couple of bundled up road bikers just went past... I'll be back out there soon.
My leg is still not healed. Yikes! How could I have thought that I did not need stitches? No swimming or running until it is healed, and that may be a while yet. I had a photo here, but it looked too ugly for even me to look at so I took it back out... I'll spare you its lurid glory.
I got another job offer today. I have not actually applied for any jobs, but I get calls occasionally (Energy Management is big business today, especially in Detroit). I may take on a temporary part time position... it could pay for toys (the new bike?) and trips without dipping into the long term savings, which of course took a big hit with the market drop.... Why can't I have it all??????? (I know, I can have it all, just not all at the same time).
