August 9, 2018. Colorado Trails.

This is my cousin Kathy and her husband R. They are standing in R's workshop, which is quite impressive. Behind the workshop is the "Garden House" where I am staying while I am here. It is cozy and comfortable.

This morning Germaine and I drove to Boulder to ride yet more bike trails. We started in town and ended up on the dirt Boulder Creek Canyon trail.

The trail runs alongside Boulder Creek, of course. We started in town and climbed all the way to the end of the trail.

We saw a climber up on a rock face high above the canyon.  Look closely--he's wearing orange.

It was downhill all the way back, on dirt trail. It was good that we were on mountain bikes!

When we got back to Boulder we rode into town for lunch. Downtown Boulder has been turned into an outdoor mall. We walked around after lunch; I hope we get to go back there again before I leave.

After we finished riding we drove up to Panorama Point, where we could look down on the entire Boulder area.

Now I am back at Kathy's house, sitting on the deck in the afternoon sunshine. Life is good!
