The other power boat left as soon as it was light, and two houseboats came in. They were a friendly bunch, traveling together.
It rained most of the day. There are actually 1,054 islands here, some of them large enough for docks and campgrounds, like Beau Rivage, and some large enough for one house. Some only big enough for a tree or two.
There were paths all over the island, and I walked them all. This is the path from our boat dock to the main campground and toilets.
Two girls from the houseboats went out on their unicorn and forgot their paddles! The wind blew them to the far shore and they had to carry it back on the path. The houseboat that had been at the dock we had the night before moved over next to its sister ship--it was still too rough out there in the wind and high waves.
.
The rain stopped around 4 PM and I went for a swim. There were a couple of islands within 100 yards so I swam laps between them and the boat.
It started raining again after dinner. We read our books until it got dark and called it a night. I think if this weather continues I am going to need more books!
